We have a smaller private chapel of rest where you can come to say your final farewells to your loved one, if you would like to bring specific music to be played during your visit please ask and we can arrange this for you.
Do I have to visit?
It will be completely up to you, and any member of your family, whether you want to visit the chapel of rest or not. We are more than happy to give you the support and advice when deciding whether to arrange a visit. Many people choose to visit their loved one so that they can pay their respects and help with the grieving process, but some people prefer not to; there is no right or wrong decision.
What should you expect, when visiting your loved one:
Visiting someone in our chapel of rest can be a difficult and emotional experience, but you won’t have to go through it alone. You will be greeted by a member of our team and taken to our Chapel side room, we will ensure you are comfortbale and do not have any unanswered questions. In your own time, we will show you through to your loved one. If you would prefer our team to accompany you, into the Chapel, please ask. You have no time restriction, when visiting, and you are welcome to visit as many times as you wish.
If you would like a specific piece of music played, whilst viisitng, please ask and we will do our best to arrange this.
