What began with Frank Painter has grown into a fourth-generation family business, built on a commitment to providing the highest standards of personal service.
Ninety years later, the Painter family remains at the heart of the business. Unlike many funeral directors, we continue to be independently owned and run by the family on a day-to-day basis, ensuring that the values established by Frank all those years ago remain at the centre of everything we do.
Our story is one of family, tradition and continuity — passed down through four generations, while continuing to evolve to meet the needs of the families we are privileged to serve.
It has always been of paramount importance to the firm to give every help, advice and assistance to bereaved families, hopefully easing, in some small way, the trauma, uncertainty and distress caused by bereavement.
We treat your loved one with the greatest care, respect and dignity at all times. We individually tailor each funeral service to the requirements of the family concerned. Every funeral remains under the direction and personal supervision of Mr Chris Painter and Mr Mike Painter, whose dedication and commitment mirror those of their father and grandfather before them.
